Johnny Lee Cooper, 47, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Tuesday, April 22nd, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, Somerset, KY

Funeral services will be private, but public visitation will be after 6pmCT, on Thursday, April 24, 2014, at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 E Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY.



Johnny Lee Cooper, 47, Russell County, KY(1966-2014)


He was born in Jamestown, Russell County, Kentucky on Saturday, June 4, 1966. He was a son of Helen Wariner Cooper of Russell Springs, KYl, and the late Lonzine Cooper. He died Tuesday, April 22, 2014, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY at the age of 47 years, 10 months, and 18 days.

He was a construction worker.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Carter of Russell Springs, KY, and the following:
  • A son: Josh Cooper, of Lexington, KY

  • A daughter: Raven Rodriguez, of Columbia, KY

  • His mother: Helen Cooper of Russell Springs, KY

  • Four grandchildren

  • Three sisters: Tiny King, Patsy Rexroat and Betty Pierce all of Russell Springs, KY

  • Three brothers: Ronnie, Donnie and Lonnie Cooper of Russell Springs, KY
Expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers are requested as a memorial to help with funeral expenses and may be left at the funeral home.

Wilson Funeral Home, 391 E Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY, in charge of arrangements.
