Charles Stafford, age 82, of Danville, KY passed away on Thursday April 17, 2014, at V.A. Medical Center Funeral Services will be held 10amCT/11amET, Monday April 21, 2014, 2014 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Steven James and Rev. Greg Powell will officiate. Burial will be in the Middleburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5pmCT/6pmET,on Sunday April 20, 2014 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel.

Charles Stafford, 82, Boyle Co., KY (1931-2014)

He was born in Mt. Olive, KY on Thursday, October 2, 1931. He was he son of to the late Clarence N. and Emma Durham Stafford. He died on Thursday April 17th, 2014, at V.A. Medical Center at the age of 82 years, 6 months, and 15 days.

He was a self-employed farmer, a U.S. Air Force Veteran and a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church. Survivors include his spouse: Madelle Lucas Stafford, and the following:
    Three sons: Michael and (Donna) Stafford, David and (Tish) Stafford and Randall and (Marnita) Stafford all of Danville, KY
  • One daughter: Elaine Stafford of Lexington, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Rebecca and (Adam) Mink, Jarrod and (Olivia) Stafford, Kevin Stafford and Tara Stafford,

  • Two great-grandchildren: Gracie Lynn Mink and Emma Kate Mink

  • One brother: Billy Stafford of Stanford, KY

  • Two sisters: Alene Bastin of Danville, KY; and Margaret Hodges of Terrace Park, OH
Besides his parents he was also preceded in death by One Brother: Kenneth Stafford and Two Sisters: Maxine Floyd and Helen Carman.
