Jimmy Hodge, 73, of Campbellsville, KY, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at the Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, KY.

Funeral services are 11:00amCT, Friday, April 18, 2014, at McKinney-Brown Funeral, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Elder Rural Boiles officiating. Mr. Hodge will be laid to rest in Brush Creek Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday, April 17, 2014 at the funeral home from 6:00pm-9:00pmCT.



Jimmy Hodge, Taylor County, KY (1940-2014)


Born Sunday, November 22, 1940 in Casey County, KY, he was the son of the late George A. and AraBelle Hodge. He died Wednesday, April 16, 2014, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 73 years, 4 months, and 24 days.

He was farmer and member of the Jesus Name Church.

Survivors include the following:
  • Two sons: Paul D. Berryman Hodge and Christopher George Hodge of Nicholasville, KY

  • A daughter: Anna Marie Hodge Cuzick of Nicholasville, KY

  • Twelve grandchildren

  • Two brothers: Bobby Hodge of North Vernon, Indiana; and Jesse Hodge of Nicholasville, KY

  • A girlfriend; Ida May VanHeck of Campbellsville, KY

  • and several nieces, nephews, and cousins
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, Frankie and Junior Hodge; and three sisters, Lilly, Cathie, and Betty Hodge.
