Brandenburg robbery suspects arrested

KSP Post 4, Elizabethtown, KY

BRANDENBURG, KY - On Monday, April 14, 2014, KSP Post 4 received an anonymous tip identifying two suspects involved with the robbery of a Brandenburg, KY convenience store.

The Friendly Food Mart on Broadway, Brandenburg, KY, was robbed on Sunday, April 6, 2014, by two men armed with a knife.



The two men fled the scene aftger taking the cash drawer dontaining an unknown amount of money from the clerk.

The suspects were identified from pictures taken from the sgtores video surveillance cameras and later released through the media. (See KSP wanting to locate these two men)

Derik Walker, 35, of Shepherdsville, KY and David Stearman, 31, of Brandenburg, KY, were both charged with robbery, 1st and lodged in Meade County Detention Center.

The investigation is ongoing and is bieng handled by KSP Detective Aaron Gabhart. KSP was assisted by Brandenburg Police Department. Tpr. Jeff Gregory
