A funeral service for Mrs. Mary Kathryn Shuffett Steward will be conducted at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1765 New Columbia Rd., Campbellsville, on Monday, April 14, 2014 at 1pmCT/2pmET.. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday, April 14, from 10:30amCT/11:30amET, until time for the funeral.

Mrs. Mary Kathryn (Shuffett) Steward was born in Taylor County, KY on January 4, 1961. She was the daughter of the late Coy and Kathryn (Edwards) Shuffett. She passed from this world on April 11, 2014 at The Medical Center Hospital in Bowling Green, Warren County, KY. She was 53 years, 3 months, and 7 days of age at the time of her passing.

Mrs. Steward had spent most of her life as a homemaker.

She is survived by:
  • Her husband: Duane Steward of Gravel Switch, KY

  • One son: Dalton Steward and fiancee' Kari Negron of Campbellsville, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Elyjah, Mackenzie, and Zehauah, all of Campbellsville, KY

  • One brother: Robert Phillips of Minnesota

  • Two sisters: Connie Phillips Houk and Christine Shuffett, both of Campbellsville, KY

  • And a host of extended family and friends
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials take the form of donations to the funeral expenses, and can be made at the funeral home.
