Jackson Brower comments on the Joe & Travis scenic oil rig

Comments re photo 54185 Oil well with spectacular view of Lindsey Wilson City of Columbia

By Jackson Brower
The Pennsyltuckian Pining for Pellyton

This is a thing of beauty, indeed!

I love scenic photos of oil and gas rigs, whether they be in the outskirts of Columbia, KY, Waynesburg, PA, New Philadelphia, OH, Greenbrier, WV, Oak Ridge, TN or Marble Falls, TX in the Barnett Shale (yes Barnett ;-).

Atlas (my company) just purchased a huge lease on property owned by Ted Turner in Raton, NM. Turned owns more land than anyone in the United States bar none.

Tell Travis and the boys that old J.R. ("Pining for Pellyton") Brower looks forward to the day I can meet him and talk about "Backyard Oil" and the oil and gas industry.

Around here alot of farmers are just "farming for fun" thanks to their Marcellus Shale leases. That's actually a line from a Range Resources commercial, a big sponsor for the Pittsburgh Penguins. Keep on drillin' boys!! --Jackson Brower
