Volunteers needed to staff Hospitality Booth at FM2

Volunteer job comes with guarantee: You won't be bored. Support local farmers and craftsman by being a "Friend of the Farmers Market on the Square" and help rocket a new $250,000 annual market into one worth millions to the Adair County economy - and even more to the health of the community and enjoyment of life here. - CM

By Beth Rutherford, Volunteer Coordinator
Farmers Market on the Square

Farmers Market on the Square, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY is opening 8am-1pmCT Saturday April 5, 2014 and vendors are ready and waiting to display and sell their wares.

The market is going to be bigger and better than last year as many new vendors have already joined the association. This year the market will offer a hospitality booth. This booth will provide comfort and rest for those who need it. It will also provide seating for people who want to eat and relax and just visit with those attending the market.

We are asking for a few good volunteers who will man the booth and take care of those needing the services of the hospitality booth. If you are interested in supporting your local farmers and craftsmen and being a "Friend of the Farmers Market on the Square", please consider volunteering for this position.

We can guarantee you won't be bored. Call Barbara Armitage at Tucker Station Farm at 270-250-2929 for details and to sign up for this job.
