He was a member of a highly regarded Russell County, KY family. He was the soln of hte late Elvis Earl and Ada West Tucker. His wife, Nila Blevins Tucker, survives. He leaves 15 direct and five step living descendants.

Leslie Tucker, 59, of Russell Springs, died Sunday, March 23, 2014 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY.

Funeral service for Leslie Tucker will be 1pmCT, Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Bobby Conner and Bro. Elvis Tucker officiating. Friends may call after 10amCT, Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial in the Hugh Frank Cemetery.



Pallbearers: Barney Flanagan, Mark Hinkle, Anthony Jasper, Neil Luttrell, and Matt Tucker.

Leslie Tucker, Russell County, KY (1954-2014)

He was born March 25, 1954 in Russell County, KY. He was the son of the late Elvis Earl & Ada West Tucker. He died Sunday, March 23, 2014, in Somerset, Pulaski County, Ky, aat the age of 59 years, 11 months, and 29 days.

He was a former employee of TTAI and was a Veteran of the US Army.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers: Sylvester, Arvester, Lester B., Liston, and Chester Tucker.

Survivors include the following,
  • His wife: Nila Blevins Tucker, Russell Springs, KY

  • Five children: Troy Tucker, Illinois; Lesley Froeber, Wisconsin; Billy Tucker, Russell Springs, KY; Cheryl Patterson, Ingle, KY; and Christy Roberts, Russell Springs, KY

  • Two step children: Rick Smith, Mt. Vernon, KY; and Reanay Griffin, Crab Orchard, KY

  • Ten grandchildren

  • Three step grandchildren

  • Six sisters: Ramona Popplewell, Exetta Wilson, Golda Hinkle, Joyce Wilson, all of Russell Springs, KY; Clora Luttrell, Windsor, KY; Mary Richardson, Lexington, KY

  • Six brothers: Bro. Elvis Tucker, Glenn Tucker, both of Russell Springs, KY
