Indictment unsealed in Green Co., KY, adult Abuse/Neglect case

Earlier List of March 10, 2014 Green County Circuit Court Indictments: March 10, 2014 Green County Grand Jury returns indictments

The previously sealed indictment No. 14-CR-0009, from March 10, 2014. Commonwealth vs Henrietta V. Murray (D.O.B. 1952), Summersville Road, Greensburg, KY, has been unsealed today, Friday, March 21, 2014. Henrietta V. Murray faces one count: Count 1 - Knowingly Abuse/Neglect of Adult by person (a Class C Felony). The Grand Jury charges that on or about March 30, 2010 through February 19 2014, in Green County, KY, the above named defendant, as caretaker, knowingly abused or neglected and adult. Said Act was against the peace and dignity of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Witnesses are KSP Trooper Jonathan Houk and Stacy Arnett, Cabinet for Families and Children. Bond was set at $20,000/10% with an order of no contact with victim.

Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceedings.
