Fire destroys 40 acres of grass and woodland Adair Fire Department, South Russell Fire Deprtment, and KY Division of Forestry combine to extinguish fire near the Village of Glens Fork, KY Click on headline for complete story with photo(s) By Donald Hare, Public Information Officer Adair County Fire Departmetn On Monday afternoon, March 10, 2014, at around 3:32pmCT, The Adair County Fire Department, along with assistance from the South Russell Fire Department and the KY Division of Forestry, battled a field and woods fire at 6472 Highway 55 South Road, near a residence owned by Bruce Hadley.
