Police make child pornography, drug arrests in Columbia, KY Adair County man charged with multiple counts related to possession and distribution of matter showing sexual performances by minors and drug charges; woman arrested and charged with multiple drug offenses after investigation by the KSP Electronic Crime Branch and units from KSP Post 15 in Columbia, KY by Les Williams, Public Information Officer III Public Affairs Branch, KY State Police COLUMBIA, KY - On Thursday evening, March 6, 2014, at approximately 6:16pmCT, the Kentucky State Police arrested Christopher Turner, 42, on charges related to possession and distribution of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor as well a multiple drug offenses. KSP also arrested Lisa Hadley, 29, on multiple drug offenses. Both were lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail. Turner was arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. The KSP Electronic Crime Branch began investigating after discovering a suspect on the Internet sharing images of child sexual exploitation or what is commonly referred to as child pornography. The majority of the images depicted children who were less than 12 years of age. The investigation resulted in the execution of a search warrant on Thursday, March 6 by the KSP Electronic Crime Branch and units from KSP Post 15-Columbia at Turner's residence in Columbia, located in Adair County. Equipment used to possess child pornography was seized during the execution of the search warrant and taken to KSP's forensic laboratory for examination. Turner is currently charged with 13 counts of distribution of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor and 120 counts of possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor. In addition, Turner was charged with possession of a controlled substance-3rd degree, possession of drug paraphernalia and prescription controlled substance not in proper container-1st offense. Hadley, who was in Turner's residence when police executed the search warrant, was also arrested and charged with drug related offenses. Hadley was charged with possession of a controlled substance, 3rd degree; possession of drug paraphernalia; trafficking in a controlled substance, 1st degree 1st offense (2 GMS Methamphetamine); trafficking in a controlled substance, 3rd degree, 1st offense (drug unspecified); possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (Methamphetamine); possession of a controlled substance, 3rd degree, (drug unspecified) and carrying a concealed deadly weapon.
