Ralph Wade, 84, of Russell Springs, died Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at the Westlake Regional Hospital in Columbia, KY.

Funeral service for Ralph Wade will be 1pmCT, Saturday, March 1, 2014 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY. Friends may call after 6pmCT, Friday. Burial will be in the Wilkerson Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Hiram Smith, Keith Williams, Corey Smith, Clay Williams, Wilson Bernard, and John Williams.

He was born in Windsor, KY. He was the son of the late Wheeler & Ollie Foley Wade.

He was the County Executive Director of ASCS office, a veteran of US Army and a member of the Russell Springs United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances Wade; a son, Benjamin Wade; a brother, Cy Wade; and a sister, Allene Bernard Survivors include the following:
  • Three children: Jean Ann (Andy) Wade, Russell Springs, KY; William Randall (Linda) Wade, Pensacola, Florida; and Charla Kay (John) Williams, Cincinnati, Ohio

  • Six grandchildren: Charles "Bud" McKinley, Corey Smith, Clay Williams, Keith Jordan Williams, Khaki Wade, and Hattie Wade

  • Two great grandchildren: Emma McKInley and Charlie McKinley

  • Three sisters: Nadin May, Danville, KY; Fern Carter, Georgia; Nina Butler, Jamestown, KY
The family requests memorials be made to Berea College General Scholarship Fund. These can be made at the funeral home.
