Firefighters battle blazes on Grady Look, Sulpher Creek Road

Outbuilding fire on Grady Loop is total loss
The Columbia Fire Department responded Saturday afternoon, February 22, 2014, at 1:56pmCT to 1025 Grady Loop for an outbuilding on fire. Upon arrival, firefighters found it was totally engulfed in fire and was a total loss. There were 12 firemen on scene for 45 minutes.

One half acre of grass burned from out of control trash fire
The Adair County Fire Department responded to 3738 Sulpher Creek Road to a grass fire for property owned by Jim and Evelyn Meyers and occupied by Laurie Dye. A burning trash fire got out of control and burned about 1/2 acre of ground. There were 13 firemen on scene for around. 20 minutes. - Donald Hare
