Margaret Keane, 87, of Russell Springs, died Sunday, February 16, 2014 at the Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, KY.

Funeral services for Margaret Keane will be 1pmCT, Thursday, February 20, 2014 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Stephen Bennett officiating. Visitation after 12pm noon, Thursday, February 20, 2014. Burial in the Bethlehem Cemetery in Russell County, KY.


Pallbearers: David Spring, John Corbett, Brandon Holbrook, Matt Holbrook, and Josh Spring.

Margaret Keane, Russell County, KY (1926-2014)

She was born March 23, 1926 in Greenup County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Otta & Mary Grey King. She died Sunday, February 16, 2014, in Lexington, Fayette County, KY, at the age of 87 years, 10 months, and 24 days.

She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Raymond Keane, and a daughter, Edna Brooks.

She is survived by the following:
  • Two daughters: Penny Taylor, Russell Springs, KY; and Linda Holbrook, Jamestown, KY

  • Nine grandchildren

  • Nine great grandchildren

  • Four sisters: Emma King, Mossie King, Sherry King, Erma Jo King, all of Greenup County, KY
