Mr. Mark Anthony Jones, 45, departed this life on Thursday, February 13, 2014, at Jewish Hospital, in Louisville, KY.

There will be a funeral service conducted for Mr. Mark Anthony Jones on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at 10amCT/11amET, at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Road, Campbellsville, KY, with burial to follow in the Brookside Cemetery, W Main Street, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be on Monday, February 17, 2014, 11amCT/12pm noon CT, until 6pmCT/7pmET, , and on Tuesday, February 18, 2014, from 6amCT/7amET, until time for the service.



Pallbearers are: Joey Sprowles, Mark Blakeman, David Howell, Dave McCoy, Chris Murphy, Jimmy Hoosier, and Joey Jones.

Mr. Jones had made a profession of faith in Christ. He was a former employee of General Electric in Louisville, KY.

He united in marriage on March 27, 1991 to Dana Renee Pearl, who survives, and the following:
  • Two daughters: Brittany and Shauna Rae Jones of Campbellsville, KY

  • His mother: Jewell Dean Sullivan Jones of Campbellsville, KY

  • His mother-in-law: Barbara Sauer and husband Thomas of Louisville, KY

  • Two brother's-in-law: Herbie Eggers and wife Patty of Louisville, and Bobby Eggers and wife Crystal of Shepherdsville, KY

  • Three sisters-in-law: Sissy Green and husband Dennis of Meade County, KY; Debbie Law and husband David of Louisville, KY; and Rachel Carter of Louisville, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
The L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Road, Campbellsville, KY, in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials take the form of donations to the funeral expenses, and can be made here or at the funeral home.
