Ronald Wayne Harper age 54 of Glasgow passed away Sunday February 9, 2014 at his home. Funeral services will be held 11amCT, Thursday, February 13, 2014 at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton with burial in the Bragg & Mosby Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4pm until 8pmCT, Wednesday and after 9amCT Thursday at the funeral home.



He was an oil broker and Army veteran.

He was the son of the late Nelson Harper and Mary Compton Chism and husband Wayne of Glasgow who survives. Besides his mother he is survived by the following:
  • A daughter: Katie Marie Harper of Brownsville, KY

  • Two brothers, Phillip and David and wife Janet Harper all of Glasgow, KY

  • Two sisters: Tammy and husband Jim Clark of Glasgow, KY; Sue and husband Mike Wilson of Summer Shade, KY

  • One step sister Melissa Chism Goodman of Nashville, TN

  • Several nieces and nephews/li>
Besides his father he was also preceded in death by a step sister Robin Chism Hall.

Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, in charge of arrangements.
