Marilyn Witty Deweese, Summer Shade, KY (1941-2014) She was retired from Houchens and was a member of the Hickory College Church of Christ. She was a member of a large, highly regarded Metcalfe County family, the daughter of the Alpha Owen and Marie Harbison Witty. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Joe Deweese. She leaves 19 direct living descendants. Funeral services will be held at 2pmCT, Sunday, February 9, 2014 at Butler Funeral Home with Bro. Gary L. Richardson officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3pmCT until 8pmCT, Saturday, February 8, 2014, and after 9amCT, Sunday at the funeral home.
