The family will receive friends after 2pmCT on Saturday, February 8, 2014, until the funeral hour on Sunday. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carmen Gentry Wells, whom she wed in 1942; her son, Charles Crawford, her daughters, Gayle Shanehsaz and Alice Murphy; her brothers, Earl Crawford, John Will Crawford and her sisters, Mary Biggerstaff, Ella White, Pauline Roach, Ottie Hubbard and Cindy Scott.
