David H. Garrett, 73, formerly of Taylor County, died Tuesday, February 4, 2014 in Louisville.

Funeral services will be at 10amCT/11amET, Saturday, February 8, 2014, at the Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home, 503 E Main Street, Campbellsville, KY, where visitation will be from 4pmCT/5pmET to 7pmCT/8pm on Friday, February 7, 2014. Burial will be in the Tallow Creek Cemetery, Taylor County, KY.

He was born May 8, 1940 to Benny and Lois Gribbins Garrett. He died Tuesday, February 4, 2014, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 73 years, 8 months, and 27 days.

Surviving are the following:
  • His sons: Gary Garrett, Louisville, KY; Johnny Garrett, Ft. Wayne, IN; and Michael Garrett, Louisville, KY

  • Two daughters: Melissa Wagaman, Ft. Wayne, IN; and Lisa Garrett, Seymour, IN

  • Two brothers: Stanley Garrett, Mannsville, KY; and Junior Garrett of Indianapolis, IN

  • Six sisters: Juanita Cox, Josephine Newton, Evelyn Cox, Jeanette Clements, Betty Seals and Connie Gribbins, all of Campbellsville, KY

  • Thirteen grandchildren

  • Six great-grandchildren
