He died Tuesday, February 4, 2014, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, at the age of 87 years, 9 months, and 28 days. He was a retired welder for Westinghouse Air & Brake. He was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church. He was the owner/operator of the Davis Apple Orchard since 1978. He was an avid guitar player. In addition to his parents, Harvey is preceded in death by his wife, Oneita Malone Davis; son, William J. Davis; an infant son; two infant daughters; son-in-law, David Souders; brothers, Frank, Alton, Paul, and Tom Davis and Ray Toms; and sisters, Mintie Riddle, Thelma Benson, Mae Sharp, Nora Grant and Alice Allen.
