Leonard Davis, Jr. of Liberty, KY, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2014, in Campbellsville, KY. He was 76.

Funeral services are at 10amCT/11amET, Wednesday, February 5, 2014, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Darrell Karnes officiating. Burial will be in Old Antioch Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday, 5pm-7pmCT/6pm-8pmET, at the funeral home.

Born Sundaym June 6, 1937 in Casey County, KY, he was the son of the late Leonard & Victoria Cleary Davis. He died Sunday, February 2, 2014, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 76 years, 7 months, and 26 days.

He was a retired 6th grade teacher for the Taylor County School System with 35 years of service. Leonard was a member and Sunday school teacher at the Rheber Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include his ex-wife and caregiver, Carolyn Yaden of Campbellsville, KY, and the following:
  • Two daughters: Rebecca Elaine (and Robin) Mach of Shepherdsville, KY; and Deidre Carol (and Mark) Scott of Campbellsville, KY

  • A granddaughter, Skylar Elizabeth Scott

  • A step-granddaughter, Breanna Hope Scott

  • A sister:, Barbara Hampton of Liberty, KY
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Beverly Denise Davis; three brothers; and two sisters.
