Loretta Bertram, 68, Russell Springs, KY, died Friday, January 31, 2014, at 1:37pmCT, in Russell Springs, KY.

Funeral services will be at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY at 11amCT, Monday, February 3, 2014, with Pastor Steve O. Wheeler officiating. Burial will be in Jamestown Cemetery, Jamestown, KY. Visitations is after 5pmCT, Sunday, February 2, 2014, at the H.E. Pruitt Funeral Home.

She was born March 1, 1945, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Rufus Shearer and Irene Blakey Knight, who survives. She died Friday, January 31, 2014, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 68 years, 10 months, and 28 days.

She worked as the activities director at Fair Oaks Health Systems.

She is survived by the following:
  • Her husband, Roger Bertram, Russell Springs, KY

  • Four sons: Terry Bailey, Greensburg, KY; Travis Bailey, Jamestown, KY; Marty Wolford, Russell Springs, KY; Mark Wolford, Russell Springs, KY

  • Four brothers: Roger Shearer, Mitchel Shearer, and Rufus Shearer, all of Jamestown, KY; and Phillip Shearer, Somerset, KY

  • Eight grandchildren
She is survived by her mother, Irene Knight; and step-father, Gilbert Knight, Jamestown, KY.

She was preceded in death by her father Rufus Shearer, and brother Jerry Shearer.

The H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY, in charge of arrangements.
