COF of Knifley welcomes incomers to Cool Springs Creek

Guy & Aline Babin get yet another welcome to the county, this time from Knifley, center of Lands of Lake & Ridgetop vacationland

COF writes:
Welcome or as sum O yer new neighbors might say Welkommen.

Sounds lak the old farmstead will still be in good hands.

Jest don't be put off iffen on occasion ya hear thet you're "from off".

They ain't speakin 'bout your mental peculiarities, jest thet ya ain't developed a palatte fer Ski, rag baloney, wonder bread en hoop cheese.

Corse when they be a referencing the COF, I suspicion they ARE referencin' my "mens corpus" specilly iffen they been palavering with Miz Emily. Whilst yer perusing the archivies, I'd recommend payin' pertickular attenting to Billy Joe Fudge's Great Wooded South Lexicon . Unfortunately hit's scattered hither en yon but worth searching out the various entries.

Where we ain't necessarily from off but definately tend to be a little off.
