Christine Garriott, of Liberty, KY passed away Sunday, January 26, 2014 at the Casey County Hospital. She was 90.

Funeral services are 11amCT/12pm noon ET, Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 756 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro Jerry Adams officiating. Burial will follow with a graveside service at Mt. Hebron Cemetery in Scottsburg, Indiana. Visitation is Wednesday from 8:30amCT/9:30amET-11amCT/12pm noon ET, at the McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.

Born Thursday, May 3, 1923 in Casey County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Elmer Smith and Ruby Wilkinson White. She died Sunday, January 25, 2014, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, at the age of 90 years, 8 months, and 22 days.

She was retired from RCA in Indianapolis, Indiana and formerly attended the Ellisburg Baptist Church.

Christine is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Garriott, who passed away February 28, 1975; two brothers, Howard and John Smith; and sister, Pauline Kish.

Survivors include:
  • A sister: Maxine (and Kenneth) Jones of Liberty, KY

  • A nephew: Gary Jones of Liberty, KY

  • A niece, Beverly Kish of Detroit, Michigan
