She was a native of Casey County, KY, the daughter of the late William Robert and Irene Smith Henson. Her husband, Howard "Jack" Richardson, survives. She leaves 4 direct living descendants. Lucille was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing.

Lucille Henson Richardson of Moreland, KY, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2014 at her home in Lincoln County, KY. She was 73.

Graveside services are 10amCT/11amET Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at Camp Nelson National Cemetery with Bro. Marvin Hatton officiating. Visitation is Tuesday, January 21, 2014 from 5pm-8pmCT/6pm-9pmET, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY. Pallbearers are Kevin Childress, Tim Childress, Allan Childress, Aaron Coppage, Ryan Livengood and Jake Atwood.

She was born April 27, 1940 in Casey County, KY. She was the daughter of the late William Robert and Irene Smith Henson. Lucille was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing.

Survivors include her husband, Howard C. "Jack" Richardson of Moreland, KY, and the following:
  • A daughter: Ronda (and Kevin) Childress of Liberty, KY

  • Two grandsons: Timothy and Allan Childress

  • A great-granddaughter: Carly Childress

  • Two brothers: Gary Henson of Liberty and John Henry Henson of Indiana

  • Three sisters: Marcella Hines of Liberty, KY; Shirley Clark of Somerset, KY; and Mildred Gadberry of Indiana.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Clifton Henson and sister, Drucilla Rodgers.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Road, Liberty, KY.
