Wesley Perkins, Adair Co., KY (1922 - 2013) Wesley Perkins of Hermitage, Davidson County, Tennessee, formerly of Adair County, Kentucky, son of the late Barm William Perkins and Ellen Gumm Perkins, was born in Adair County, Kentucky, Monday, March 13, 1922. He died on Saturday, December 21, 2013 in Murfreesboro, Rutherford County, Tennessee, at the age of 91 years, 9 months, and 8 days. He professed faith in Christ. He was a veteran of World War II, having served his country honorably in the United States Army and receiving a Purple Heart. He was a retired zoo keeper in Houston, Texas. He united in marriage to Christine White who preceded him in death July 11, 2008. He is survived by the following:
