Rick Combs, 54, of Mannsville, KY died at 5:03amET, Friday, January 3, 2014 in Mannsville, KY.

The funeral service for Rick Combs will be at 1pmCT/2pmET, Monday, January 6, 2014 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY by Bro. Don Gowin and Bro. Keith Fields. Burial will be in Adair County, at Bear Wallow Cemetery, 6090 Liberty Road, COlumbia, KY.

Rick Combs was the son of Deloris Combs Compton, who survives. He was born in Magoffin County, KY, Friday, July 10, 1959. He died Friday, January 3, 2014 in Mannsville. Taylor County, KY, at the age of 54 years, 5 months, and 24 days.

He professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.

He was a retired restaurant employee after thirty years of service.

He united in marriage to Evelyn Dudley June 10, 2005.

He is survived wife, Evelyn Combs of Mannsville, KY, he is survived by the following:
  • One son and one daughter: Rickey Combs, Jr. of Oregon and Tiffany Combs of Loganville, GA

  • Two step-daughters: Tanya Fisher of Campbellsville, KY; and Tara Rowe of Columbia, KY

  • One step-son whom he raised: Josh Lay and his wife, Heather, of Nicholasville, KY

  • One granddaughter: Cheyanne Combs of Loganville, GA

  • His mother: Deloris Combs Compton, Louisville, KY

  • One brother and one sister: Gerald Whitley and wife, Susan of Louisville, KY; and Wanda Billings and husband, Allan of Mannsville, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews

  • And many other relatives and friends
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Larry Back.
