Gerald Stephens, Hwy 1729, Russell Springs, KY, died Thursday, January 2, 2014, at at 12:30pmET, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Hospital in Danville, KY.

Funeral services will be at 10amCT, Saturday, January 4, 2014, at the H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY, with Bro. Ted Stidham and Bro. Billy Dunbar officiating. Burial will be in the Russell County Memorial Gardens, Russell Springs, KY. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Friday, January 3, 2014, at the H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel.

He was born May 21, 1956, in Shelbyville, Shelby County, IN. He was the son of the late Lee Stephens and Sarah Lillian (McQueary) Stephens. He died Thursday, January 2, 2014, in Danville, Boyle County, KY, at the age of 57 years, 7 months, and 12 days.

He was a truck driver.

He is survived by the following:
  • One sister: Mary Ann (Leonard) Gaskins, Russell Springs, KY

  • Three brothers: Ronnie Stephens and Joe (Marie) Stephens, both of Russell Springs, KY; and Roger (Alice) Stephens, Columbia, KY

  • And a host of nieces and nephews
The H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamesown, KY, in charge of arrangements.
