William (Bill) Douglas Gumm, Green Co., KY (1929-2014) He was a native of Green County, KY, and a resident at the time of his death. He was the son of the late Joseph Mottley Gumm and Vara Chaudoin Gumm. His wife of 62 years, Mrs. Martha Lavern Walker Gumm, survives. He leaves 14 direct living descendants. He had made a profession of faith in Christ. He was a retired master printer for Publishers Printing Company in Shepherdsville, Kentucky, a member of the Rod Lowe Post 124, and loved WKU Hilltoppers and the Cincinnati Reds. The funeral service will be held at 12pmCT/1pmET, Tuesday, December 31, 2013, at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY. Burial will be in the Gumm Cemetery in Green County, KY. Visitation is requested 4pm-8pmCT/5pm-9pmET, Monday, December 30, 2013, at the funeral home. Pallbearers: Andy Gumm, Nathan McCullough, Ian McCullough, Nash Gumm, Joey Caven, and Alex Colvin. Honorary pallbearers: Publishers Printing Company Employees. He died December 27, 2013, in Elizabethtown, Hardin County, KY, at the age of 84 years, 11 months, and 17 days. He had made a profession of faith in Christ. He was a retired master printer for Publishers Printing Company in Shepherdsville, Kentucky, a member of the Rod Lowe Post 124, and loved WKU Hilltoppers and the Cincinnati Reds. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Martha Laverne Walker Gumm of Greensburg, KY, having united in marriage on August 5, 1951. and the following:
