He was a member of a highly regarded Adair County, KY, family. He was the son of the late Loral Talton and Ruth Scott Bradshaw. His wife, Marie Grider Bradshaw survives. He leaves two direct living descendants. He served his country during the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Air Force.

L.T. Bradshaw, 85, of Columbia, KY, died Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 11:13amET, at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, KY. Cremation has been chosen and no services are planned.


L.T. Bradshaw, Adair Co., KY (1928-2013)


He was born in Breeding, Adair County, KY, on February 27, 1928. He was the son of the late Loral Talton & Ruth Scott Bradshaw. He died Saturday, December 28, 2013, in Lexington, Fayette County, KY, at the age of 85 years, 10 months and 1 day.

He served his country during the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Air Force. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters: Martin Addison Bradshaw, Leon Bradshaw, Jeanette Hulse, Ruby Yates, Lula Mae Strunk, Peggy Long and Helen Tabor.

Survivors include:
  • His wife: Marie Grider Bradshaw of Columbia, KY

  • One son: Tim (Rhonda) Bradshaw of Columbia, KY

  • One granddaughter: Fancy Bradshaw Melton of Columbia, KY

  • One brother: Bobby Bradshaw of Indiana

  • Several other relatives & friends

  • Cremation has been chosen and no services are planned.
