Fletcher Henderson Lott, Green County, KY (1941-2013) He gained fame as a vocalist and drummer in Iowa City, Iowa. He lived his younger years in Green County, KY, and will be returned to Green County, to Groves and Anderson Cemetery for intement Click on headline for complete obituary Fletcher Henderson Lott aka 'Sonny Lott' 72, a longtime Iowa City, Iowa musician and local legend peacefully left this earth on Thursday December 12, 2013 from a long battle with cancer. A memorial service was held 5pm-7pmCT, Monday, December 16, 2013, Lensing Funeral Service in Iowa City, Iowa. There will also be a "Sonny Lott Memorial Jam" on December 27, 2013, at The Mill in Iowa City, Iowa at 7pmCT. Fletcher lived in the Iowa City, Iowa area for over forty years, and played drums with many of the best bands in the area. He was mainly known as a rock steady drummer. Fletcher was also a fantastic vocalist, famous for his renditions of "Mustang Sally", "Stormy Monday" and the other classics. Perhaps his greatest gift was his ability to befriend practically everyone he met. Fletcher was born in Louisville, KY October 17, 1941 to James Henderson Lott & Josie Groves-Lott who both preceded him in death, as well as a younger brother Donald Gene Lott, and his beloved son Tony. Fletcher lived his younger years in Greensburg, KY. Survivors include:
