Dec. 23, 2013) She was a daughter of the late Walter and Anna McCluskey Shives and was a member of the Beaumont United Methodist Church and the widow of Charles Edd Simpson. She leaves 7 direct living descendants. She was retired from Handmacher Mfg. after having worked there for 34 years Click on headline for complete obituary Dollye Shives Simpson, age 92 of Louisville, KY, formerly of Beaumont, Metcalfe County, KY, died Monday, December 23, 2013, at the home of her daughter. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 28, 2013, at 11amCT, at the Beaumont United Methodist Church on KY 90 in Beaumont, Metcalfe County, KY, with Bro Joe Wilcoxson officiating. Burial will follow in the Beaumont Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3pmCT/4pmET, Friday, December 27, 2013, at the McMurtrey Funeral Home, 2232 Summer Shade Road, Summer Shade, KY, and continue at the church at 9amCT Saturday until funeral time at 11amCT. She was a daughter of the late Walter and Anna McCluskey Shives and was a member of the Beaumont United Methodist Church.
