Mrs. Lou Buckner Clark Bishop, Center, KY (1925-2013)

She was the daughter of the late Joseph Stanton Clark and Maggie Lou Sullivan Clark and the widow of John T. Bishop. She leaves on direct living descendant. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Seven Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was a homemaker.

Mrs. Lou Buckner Clark Bishop of Center, Kentucky, daughter of the late Joseph Stanton Clark and Maggie Lou Sullivan Clark, was born on September 18, 1925 in Green County, and departed this life on Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow, Kentucky. She was 88 years, three months, and seven days of age.

The funeral services for Mrs. Lou Buckner Clark Bishop will be conducted at 1pmCT/2pmET, Saturday, December 28, 2013 at the Seven Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 1607 Seven Springs Church Road, Center, KY with burial to follow in the Seven Springs Church Cemetery. Bro. Randall Gray and Bro. Ronnie Hamilton will be officiating. Visitation is requested after 10amCT/11amET, Saturday at the Seven Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church until time of the funeral services.

Mrs. Lou Buckner Clark Bishop of Center, Kentucky, was the daughter of the late Joseph Stanton Clark and Maggie Lou Sullivan Clark. She was born on September 18, 1925 in Green County, and departed this life on Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow, Barren County, KY. She was 88 years, 3 months, and 7 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Seven Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was a homemaker.

She united in marriage to John T. Bishop on November 16, 1952 who preceded her in death on November 5, 2005.

Survivors include the following:
  • A daughter: Anna Louise Bishop London of Center, KY

  • Two brothers and sisters-in-law: Richard and Jean Clark, and Larry and Bertie Clark all of Greensburg, KY

  • A caretaker: Runell Davidson

  • And a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
Mrs. Bishop was also preceded in death by a son-in-law: Virgil Ray London; two brothers and four sisters: G.R. "Chunk" Clark, H.G. "Nudy" Clark, Lois Wilcoxson, Isobel Clark, Eugenia Nell Jones, and Elizabeth Ann Clark.

Memorials are suggested to the Gideon Bible Fund or the Seven Springs Church Cemetery Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
