By Ed Waggener

Some 50 people attended the Second Christian Church Christmas dinner, Christmas Day, 2013.

Food was furnished by member Foster Graves, the schedule was coordinated by Trustee Billy Wheat. The food was prepared and served by Shirley Jones, Dean Walkup, Lib Williams, and Shirlene Ingram, and Nina Cheatham.

Dinner included turkey/dressing, ham, corn, green beans, pasta salad, macaroni/cheese, bread provided by Chico Mitchell, and a variety of desserts, including zucchini bread, apple pie, pecan pie, and cheese cake - all homemade.

The attendance may have been down a few people, Dean Walkup, said, because of the colder weather this year, but it was still a memorable occasion.

The meal was served in Second Christian Church's beautiful dining room.
