The rest of the story: Is Santa Claus real?

Growing up on Jamestown Hill: The secret Susan Russell knew; and kept from her confidante - to this day

Ann Heskamp Curtis writes:
Thanks for the memories, Ralph Roy! I don't even recall the Christmas bike episode, but I do remember that Susan Russell had a green bike and I had a royal blue one, and we rode them all over the neighborhood. You were always in the picture on one of your Schwinns.

And in the spirit of paying it forward, Susan Russell constantly tormented me about a secret involving "S.C." When I insisted that it must mean Santa Claus, she would only respond by laughing maniacally.

Merry Christmas from sunny California!

- Ann Heskamp Curtis
