She was a member of a very large family of 15 siblings. She was the matriarch of a large, respected. family She was a factory worker. Her husband, Preston Dean York, survives.

Mary Katherine York, 74, of Russell Springs, KY, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2013, at her residence.

Funeral services will be at 1pmCT/2pmET, on Saturday, December 28, 2013, at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 E Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Gene Sneed the officiating clergy. Interment will be in the Freedom Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10amCT, on Saturday, December 28, 2013, at Wilson Funeral Home, Russell Springs, KY.

She was a factory worker.

She is survived by her husband, Preston Dean York, of Russell Springs, KY, and the following:
  • Two daughters: Sherry M. Heideman, of Florida; and Mary Hollen, of Dillsboro, IN

  • Seven sons: Richard Pendleton, of Bennington, IN; Tommy Pendleton, of West Harrison, IN; Jerry Pendleton, of Cincinnati, OH; Gerald Pendleton, of Ludlow, KY; Vince Heideman, of Crescent Springs, KY; Stanley Martin Heideman, of Cincinnati, OH; and James Cody Cason, of Florida

  • Her mother: Ruby Dye Neat, Campbellsville, KY

  • Seven brothers: Frank Neat, of Russell Springs, KY Edward Neat, of Hamilton, Ohio; Fred Neat, of Elkhorn, KY; Elba Neat, of Campbellsville, KY; Wilbert Neat, of Campbellsville, KY; Coy Neat, of Campbellsville, KY; Randall Neat, of Tampa, Florida.

  • Seven Sisters: Alene Long, of Liberty, KY; Wanell Poirier, of Tampa, FL; Patti Stuck, of Tampa, FL; Sheryl Sullivan, Campbellsville, KY; Barbara Moore, Campbellsville, KY; Wilma Burton, Campbellsville, KY; and Jo Ann Neat, New Port Richi, Florida.
Wilson Funeral Home, 391 E Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY, in charge of arrangements.
