After a sloppy first half that saw both teams struggle to get an offensive flow the Tribe edged ahead 22-19 on a Matt Fudge trey at the buzzer. Adair edged ahead 38-32 after three periods. In the final period Ty Bennett scored eight of his 14 points as the Indians went on a 20-7 run to take a 58-39 advantage before the Rockets scored the final four points. Fudge and Bennett led the Indians with 15 and 14 respectively. Chance Melton had a double double, with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Rounding out the scoring were Marshall Shelley 9, Jacob Pooler 6, Jake Hixson 2, and Trevor Willis 2. Pooler led the Indians with 11 rebounds. Fudge and Shelley had 4 assists. Girls win 68-58 The Adair County Girls improved with a 68-58 win over Rockcastle County. Their record improves to 6-1, with the sole loss coming in a road game at Marion County.
