Mr. Ricky Joe Hatcher, 53, Edmonton, KY (d. Dec. 18, 2013)

Ricky was saved as a young man at Northtown United Baptist Church and later joined Servent Valley Baptist Church were he remained a member till death. He was the son of Rev Stanley hatcher and the late Ruth Hatcher. His wife, Carolyn Jessie Hatcher, survives. He leaves 9 direct living descendants.

Mr. Ricky Joe Hatcher , 53, of Edmonton, KY, passed away at his home on Wednesday December 18, 2013.

Funeral Services will be held 2pmCT, Friday, December 20, 2013, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the Garrett Cemetery. Visitation will be 2pm-8pmCT, Thursday, December 19, 2013, and after 9amCT, Friday at the funeral home. Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, in charge of arrangements.



The Barren County native was the son of Rev. Stanley Hatcher and the late Ruth Hatcher. Ricky was also preceded by death by one daughter Crystal Hazen and his father in law Reid Jessie.

Ricky was saved as a young man at Northtown United Baptist Church and later joined Servent Valley Baptist Church were he remained a member till death.

Surviors include his wife Carolyn Jessie Hatcher of Edmonton, KY, and the following:
  • Two daughters and two son-in-laws: Gary and Brandi Alluis and Joe and Rachel Dotson, both of Edmonton, KY

  • Six grandchildren: Scott,Felicia, and Tanner Alluis, Lonnie Grider, and Alexis and Jessie Brooke Dotson, Cave City, KIY

  • One great granddaughter: Tracey Grider, Cave City, KYI

  • One brother: Eugene Hatcher and wife Betty Jo Hatcher, Cave City, KY

  • One sister: Genese Hatcher Dial and husband Jeff Dial, all of Cave City, KY

  • His mother in law: Helen Jessie of Edmonton, KY

  • And many nephews, nieces, great nephews, and great nieces.
