Philip N. Frederick, of Middleburg, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2013, at his residence. He was 72.

Funeral services will be at 1pmCT/2pmET, Thursday, December 19, 2013, at Locust Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Keith Bowling and Bro. Tim Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the KP Hall Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4pm-8pmT/5pm-9pmET, on Wednesday at the Church.

Born Tuesday, July 22, 1941, in Casey Co., KY, he was a son of the late George and Martha Perry Frederick. He died Tuesday, December 17, 2013, in Middleburg, Casey County, KY, at the age of 72 years, 4 months, and 26 days.

Philip was a member of the Locust Grove Baptist Church and a retired Heavy Equipment Operator for B&B Electric. He was preceded in death by a son, Norman "Buster" Frederick. Survivors include his wife, Imogene Poore Frederick, and the following:
  • Son: Kenneth (Cherri) Frederick of Stanford, KY

  • Step-son: Jack (Cindy) Perkins of Somerset, KY

  • Step-daughters: Jamie (Eddie) Bell and Jacqueline (Joel) Cunnigan, both of Monticello, and Jessica (Dewayne) Riddle of Albany

  • Brother, Robert (Ruth) Frederick of Kings Mountain, KY

  • Sister: Dorothy Carman of Kings Mountain, KY

  • Three grandchildren

  • Four great-grandchildren

  • Six step-grandchildren

  • And five step great-grandchildren
Funeral arrangements entrusted to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, in charge of arrangements.
