Supports those who protect; says ballplayers make too much Mary Ann Brown writes: Thank Goodness somebody else realizes that the ball players/handlers are not the ones that should row in the money but the people that make the greatest impact on teaching our young/protecting our counties/states/country are the ones that should have the big money. I know this neck of woods thrives on ball playing but the people that risk their life each time they go to a domestic situation/robbery/hostage situations, these people have no idea that they will ever return back home. Our young need guidance and they need it bad....I could not do either job for I lack the patience and the knowledge but I do want to thank those that can and do their jobs day in and day out...I'm referring to soldiers too. People in the public eye have to stand on the fence/jump over the fence and straddle the fence just to keep peace but at what cost? Just an ole lady giving her opinion! Ballplayers in all ball sports make way too money...--Mary Ann BrownComments re article 63973 Letter God Bless All Those That Protect and Serve This story was posted on 2013-12-15 15:15:38
