Lou Montgomery, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late French Combs and Ethel Whitaker Combs, died at 12:10pmET, Tuesday, December 10, 2013 in Campbellsville.

Funeral services will be at 10amCT/11amET, Friday, December 13, 2013 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Dr. James Jones and Dr. Mike O'Neal. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Louisville, KY. Visitation will be 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.

Lou Montgomery, of Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, was the daughter of the late French Combs and Ethel Whitaker Combs. She was born in Breathitt County, Kentucky. She died Tuesday, December 10, 2013 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Alex Montgomery, and the following:
  • One daughter and one son: Stephanie Montgomery and husband, Matthew of Louisville, KY; and Kris Mullins and wife, Melissa of Lexington, KY

  • Five grandchildren: Greyson Montgomery, Piper Montgomery and Morgan Montgomery of Louisville, KY; Cooper Mullins and Presley R. Mullins of Lexington, KY

  • One brother and two sisters: Harlis Combs, Bea Patrick and Mildred Combs of Dayton, Ohio

  • Her mother-in-law and father-in-law: Pat and Richard Montgomery of Louisville, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers and one sister: Wallace Combs, Sam Combs, Willard Combs and Edith Gross. The family requests expressions of sympathy be donations to Hospice of Central Kentuckyand may be made at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.
