Funeral services will be Thursday, December 12, 2013 at 10amCT, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY with Bro. Scott Ferguson officiating. The family requests visitation 4pm-9pmCT, Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home in Burkesville, KY.

Louise was born on Friday, June 04, 1943 in Ravenna, Portage County, Ohio, She was the daughter of the late James Charlie Myers and Mary Melton Myers. She died Monday, December 9, 2013, in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY, a the age of 70 years, 6 months, and 5 days.

She was a member of First Christian Church, and a former employee of Curtis & McComas, WKYR Radio, and the Cumberland County Water Department.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son, Joey Curtis, and three brothers, Paul Myers, Curtis Myers, and Haskel Myers.

Survivors include:
  • Her husband:Joe Howard Curtis of Burkesville, KY

  • One son; Bill Curtis and his wife Darla Watson Curtis of Burkesville, KY

  • Two brothers: Troy Myers of Donaldson, TN, and Gale Myers of Winchester, IN

  • Five grandchildren: Mary Jo Brown and Anthony Kyle Curtis both of Tompkinsville, KY; Neeley Jo Curtis and Robert Frazier Curtis both of Burkesville, KY: and Andie Thacker of Taylorsville, KY

  • And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
