Betty Marie Fields, of Liberty, KY, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was 64.

Funeral services will be at 1pmCT/2pmET, Saturday December 14, 2013 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY. Burial will be in Brush Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, December 13, 2013, 3pm-8pmCT,4pm-9pmET, at the funeral home.



Betty Marie Fields, 64, Casey Co., KY (1949-2013)


Born February 18, 1949 in Weston, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Virgil Lee and Dorothy Marie Beam James. She died in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY on Saturday, December 7, 2013, at the age of 64 years, 9 months, and 17 days.

She lived a peaceful life and loved her children and grandchildren. Survivors include the following:
  • A son, Michael Bianconi of Florida

  • Three daughters: Michelle, Marie and Ruth Ann Bianconi all of Liberty, KY

  • Twelve grandchildren: Samantha Steele, James Steele, Cody Steele, Matthew Bianconi, Elizabeth Bianconi, Taylor Chancey, Robyn Bianconi, Heather Bianconi, Nicholas Bianconi, Kasey Amboyen, Cameron Berlue, and Brady Amboyen

  • Two great-grandchildren: Braylon Goforth and Kayliee Clements

  • Six brothers: Virgil James Jr. of South Carolina; Michael Lee and Thomas James both of Maryland, Dennis James of Michigan, John James of West Virginia, and David James of Florida

  • Three sisters: Dorothy Oldaker , Joyce McLure and Juanita Johnson all of Florida.
In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her husband, William Fields, who passed away August 15, 2000, and two brothers, Virgil Allen James and Joseph Terry James. Send a condolence to the family of Betty Marie Fields
