Thelma Doris England, 78, Glasgow, KY (d. Dec. 6, 2013)

She was the daughter of the late Andrew Lee and Kizzie Gibson Moss. She was the daughter of the late Andrew Lee and Kizzie Gibson Moss. She also was a homemaker and member of the Society Hill Baptist Church, Metcalfe County, KY. Her husband, Willis England, survives. She leaves 12 direct living descendants.

Thelma Doris England age 78 of Glasgow died Friday, Dec. 6, 2013, at the Glenview Health Care in Glasgow, KY

Funeral services will be 1pmCT, Monday, at the Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the Society Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 1pm-8pmCT, Sunday, December 8, 2013 at the funeral home.



She was the daughter of the late Andrew Lee and Kizzie Gibson Moss. She also was a homemaker and member of the Society Hill Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Willis England of Glasgow, KY, and the following:
    LI>Three daughters: Karen and husband Tommy Garmon of Edmonton, KY; Rita Hughes and friend Mike Bragg, of Glasgow, KY; Lisa and husband James Blankenship of Edmonton, KY;
  • Eight grandchildren: Lori Broaddus, Josh Smith, Jonathan and wife Stacey Smith, James Reece, Matthew Dillon, Calli Dillon, Andrew Nichols, Colleen Hughes

  • Eleven great grandchildren

  • One great great grandchild also survives
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Myrtle Coffey and son in law Barry Hughes.

Butler Funeral Home, 201 E. Street, Edmonton, KY, in charge of arrangements.
