Columbia PD Ofc. Johnny Dial receives Governor's Award

On 12-02-2013 CPD Ofc. Johnny Dial received a Governor's Award for removing and prosecuting impaired drivers travelling on the roadways in Adair County. Officer's who received the award from all across Kentucky travelled to the Marriott East in Louisville, KY for a ceremony in appreciation for their efforts.

"We are very proud of Officer Dial and his achievement, keeping impaired drivers off our city, county, and state roads has and always will be a priority for our department." Chief Jason Cross said. Officer Dial was accompanied by Sgt. Jr Murphy for the ceremony. - Jason Cross
