Columbia PD Ofc. Johnny Dial receives Governor's Award Columbia Police Officer recognized for efforts to remove impaired drivers from our roadways. Johnny Dial received a Governor's Award for removing and prosecuting impaired drivers travelling on the roadways in Adair County. Officer's who received the award from all across Kentucky travelled to the Marriott East in Louisville, KY for a ceremony in appreciation for their efforts. "We are very proud of Officer Dial and his achievement, keeping impaired drivers off our city, county, and state roads has and always will be a priority for our department." Chief Jason Cross said.
