Norman F. White, 91, Louisville, KY (1922-2013)

He was a member of a highly regarded East Adair County family, the sone of the late John & Mary Ross White of the Ozark Community. He was a resident of Jefferson County, KY, at the time of his death. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Ethelean Oden White. He leaves 8 direct living descendants. He was owner and operator of White Straw and Hay, and an Army veteran of WWII.

Norman F. White, 91, of Louisville, KY, formerly of Adair County, KY, passed away Tuesday December 3, 2013 in Louisville, KY.

Funeral service will be Friday, December 6, 2013, at 9amCT/10amET, at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens (West). Visitation will be Thursday 1pmCT/2pmET-7pmCT/8pmET at the funeral home.



Norman F. White, 91, Adair Co. native (1922-2013)

He was the son of the late John & Mary Ross White. He was born August 18, 1922, in Adair County, KY. He died Tuesday, December 2, 2013, in Louisville, KY, at the age of 91 years, 3 months, and 15 days.

He was owner and operator of White Straw and Hay, and an Army veteran of WWII.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters Ray White & Bertram White, Kate Spencer, Rosa Bea Bryant, Ada McKinney & Coe Absher He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Ethelean (Oden) White, and the following:
  • Daughter, Jean Andrada (Ron) and son Robert Morrison (Helen)
  • Grandchildren: Shawn Andrada (Rebecca) and Shannon Bramer (Chad)

  • Great grandchildren: Jordan and Tyler Andrada, Dakota, Trinity and Cruz Bramer

  • Sister: Francis Carlton of North Carolina
