Paul Russell Corbin, Adair Co., KY (d. Nov. 30, 2013) He was a born again Christian with previous membership in Dunbar Hill Baptist Church in Knifley, KY, Campbellsville Baptist Church and most recently at Greenwood Baptist Church in Bowling Green, KY. He was a WWII veteran of the Army and received his Bachelors of Science from EKU, Masters of Arts and his Rank I Certification from WKU. He retired from teaching after 40 years of beloved service to children in the Adair County School system, at Shepherd Elementary School and Knifley Grade Center. He was a member of a highly regarded Adair County family, the eldest son of the late Willie Ewing and Hallie V. Corbin. His marriage to Edna Ruth Corbin, who survives, endured a remarkable 64 years. He was the brother of Travis T. Corbin (Glenna) of Knifley, KY. He leaves three direct living descendants. Paul Russell Corbin age 87 of Alvaton, KY went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, November 30, 2013 in Bowling Green, KY. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at 11amCT, at J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel, 820 Lovers Lane, Bowling Green, KY, with burial to follow in Bowling Green Gardens. Visitation will be 6:30pm-8pmCT, Monday, December 2, 2013, Tuesday from 10amCT until the funeral hour at 11amCT. Paul Russell Corbin, Adair Co., KY (d. Nov. 30, 2013) A native of Adair County, KY, he was the eldest son of the late Willie Ewing and Hallie V. Corbin. He died November 1, 2013, in Bowling Green, Warren County, KY, at the age of 87 years. He was preceded in death by his 2 sisters, infant Imogene Corbin and Arlene Velma Brothers.
