She was a member of a large, highly regarded Adair County, KY family. She was the daughter of Alfred B. Corbin, Jr., who survives, and Jane Smith Corbin, who survives. Her husband, Jeff Willkerson, survives. She leaves four direct and two step living descendants. She was a member of Columbia Baptist Church and a retired nurse.

Julie Ann Corbin Wilkerson age 55 years, of Columbia, KY passed away Tuesday November, 26, 2013 at 6:01pmCT at her home.

Funeral services will be Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 2pmCT/3pmET, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, with the clergy officiating Rev. J. Alvin Hardy. Interment will be in the Corbin Cemetery, Bull Run Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 4pmCT/5pmET, Friday, November 29, 2013.

She was born on Friday, July 11, 1958 in Adair County, KY. She was the daughter of Alfred B. Corbin, Jr. & Jane Smythe Corbin. She died Tuesday, November 26, 2013, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, a the age of 56 years, 4 months, and 15 days.

She is survived by the following:
  • Her father: Alfred B. Corbin, Jr. & wife Cathy of Columbia, KY

  • Her mother: Jane Smythe Corbin of Columbia, KY

  • Husband: Jeff Wilkerson of Columbia, KY

  • One daughter: Tressie (Ricky) Roy of Columbia, KY

  • One son: Logan (B. J.) Wilkerson of Nashville, TN

  • Three brothers: Alfred B. "Hooty" (Sandy) Corbin of Columbia, KY; James Corbin of Russell Springs, KY; and Greg H. (Michelle) Corbin of Greensburg, KY

  • She was preceded in death by one brother Kevin Lee Corbin

  • Two grandchildren Phillip Wilkerson, Brayden Burton & Caydee Burton
  • Two step-grandchildren Kassidy Roy & Riley Roy

  • Mother-in-law Rose & husband Leon Burton of Campbellsville, K

  • Father-in-law Charles W. Wilkerson of Columbia, KY

  • Several nieces, nephews & a host of other relatives & friends survive
Expression of sympathy are suggested to Westlake Regional Hospital or the Adair County Ambulance Service and may be left at the funeral home.
