Zorada South, 88, Metcalfe County, KY (d. Nov. 23, 2013)

She was the daughter of the late Finnis and Price Chaney England and the last surving sibling of their eight children. She was the widow of Linden South. She leaves 13 direct living descendants

Zorada South age 88 of Center, KY, died Saturday November 23, 2013 at her home.

Funeral services will be 2pmCT/3pmET, Tuesday, November 26, 2013, at the Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the Asbury-Center Cemetery, Center. Visitation will be Tuesday from 12pmCT/1pmET until time for service.

She was the daughter of the late Finnis and Price Chaney England.

She was a homemaker and member of the Center United Methodist Church.

She is survived by the following:
  • One son: Danny South of Center, KY

  • One daughter: Linda husband Fred Amis of Jacksonville, FL

  • Four grandchildren: Kristy Holland, Dana Wade, Heather Passafiume, and Ashley Colon

  • Seven great grandchildren
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Linden South, and seven brothers and sisters.

The family request in lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the North Metcalfe Fire Department and Rescue Squad.
