Chestnut Grove Christian issues challenge for food for needy

Congregation wants all churches to help area Food Pantries

Johnnietta Jessie writes:

We, the congregation of Chestnut Grove Church, 145 Chestnut Grove Road, Breeding, KY, issue a challenge to all churches within Columbia Magazine readership to collect food for the coming holiday season and donate it to a local food pantry. Pastor James Miles said he had talked to someone at Bowling Park in Edmonton and said they were in need of food to distribute to needy families. Thank you so much. Contact: johnnietta@live.com - Johnnietta Jessie. Thanks, Johnnietta Jessie - A great idea. Hope you'll send details on how to help Bowling Park. A very Christian thing to do. We have a number of food drives already on CM magazine. We'll be happy to help. We need complete contact information from those churches who plan drives, with contacts, phone numbers, times, days & dates, and of course, as always in CM announcements, street & number for an locations, especially drop-offs. - EW
